I'd just like to add something in here. It is OK to consume dairy products as long as the cow is not harmed in the process.
It is also OK to use leather as long as it came from an already dead animal.
It is OK to use animal fibres in clothing. They aren't killing the sheep. The sheep was MADE to make wool for us to use.
Every animal has a purpose, and we must face that fact.

Oh get off my back! Sorry if I care for animals to a bit of an excessive point, but I made my choice and I stand by it.
MCC, I wasn't directing my post towards you. I was merely stating my point of view. And considering we're told what we can eat in the Bible and considering that predator and prey exsist in nature I don't think it was off base to say it. This is what a discussion is, sharing opinions and discussing how they contrast.
More power to you if you're a veggie. I think people certainly have the right to eat whatever they want or don't want! Just don't expect me to either jump on the bandwagon or keep my mouth shut.
And btw, I live with four dogs and four cats, all rescues. I love my pets like my children and one of the most painful moments in my life has been when my precious baby boys, Secret & Snoopy, became terminally ill and euthanisa became the only humane option. I pray I never have to watch another of my babies die in my arms like I have twice so far, but I'm glad I was there anyways at the very end, so they knew that they were still loved. Even meat eaters can be loving pet-parents too. [img]smile.gif[/img]
